I do like me a good Top 10 list and they're harder to write well than most people think. It's because of #5. But I guess a Top 3 List doesn't sound so enticing, does it?

How's that patent coming along?

Hi Curtis and Jaffer. Sorry for the delay in my response...Disqus is now blocked at work, so I can't catch up on replies until I'm home.
I think Jaffer is in a time continuum warp with his numbering. Tis true, Jaffer and I are now inseparable due to comment organizational standards I imposed upon myself at Kathy's blog. Curtis, thanks for the words. I hope you look at Top 10 Lists in a different light now.

I find that Dasani the most outrageously priced. And I don't like how their water tastes by the end of the day.
With this cap, they just gave me another reason why not to give my mney to them !

Yea, thumbs down on this thing. When will companies understand they need ME to test their products and product modifications? I am very awesome at that. And they wouldn't have to pay me much. The satisfaction of saving people years of collective grief would be payment enough.

I think all coke products have this type of lid. Makes it a pain to open when your working on an assembly line and you don't have much time to take a drink let alone fight with a bottle cap.

I've found that http://mail.cuil.com/mail revels their mail client software and admin software. I just did some random folder guessing and sure enough, it was simply "mail". Have fun guessing the username and password!

Hi Chelle: It was very surreal indeed. I'm making inroads with pronunciation when ordering food now. I'm especially sensitive to condiments. Even that word lends itself to misinterpretation. Oh well. Thanks for your comment!

Jaffer: There were a lot of votes over at LifeHacker for RTM. I have an account and check it out every so often to play with it. The twitter connection might be something to look into - as long as I can remember to "d_" send a direct message! Yikes.

I started using Notepad++ a few years ago for a quick and cheap solution to edit VisualBasic and C# code as it allows syntax hilighting.
Now I use it to edit the themes on my blog - using the FTP function. see screenshot

Too bad Notepad++ is unavailable for Linux, however I run it on Debian using some Wine ;) visit website

Gedit and KWrite which are default editors for GNOME and KDE have syntax highlighting, sidebar, and tabbed browsing but I am not sure if the latest versions support FTP.

But for my todo lists, I use "Remember The Milk". I find it very simple.
They've integerated it with Twitter and I can talk to it using Jott, which makes it very convinient.

Jaffer! Your time will come. Just when you least expect it of course. And Kathy and I will be the first to read about via Twitter. I had neighbors in Chicago who played cricket. I never made it to a weekend game - wish I had.

Kathy, you don't know how pleased I am with the fact you got a chuckle. I bet a panty could put a shine on a Macintosh, eh? Will take the apple advise to heart. Constitution is O.K. for now - more worried about dang Jalapeno peppers than apples these days.

Growthumbs... not just 'mayonnaise' but 'NO mayonnaise'. Say it about 5 times in a row. See! Who would a thunk? As for your apple polishing technique: "unique" comes to mind.

Never would in a million years would of thought that mayonnaise sounds like Panties!

As far as apple polishing goes I'm an under the shirt apple polisher my self. Got a few stares to say the least.
