Burn, Baby Burn.

The weather finally cooperated tonight and our 6 ft. tall pile of leaves, limbs and twigs; known as “Tree Crap”, had to go.  A call to the local fire department for a ‘burn permit’ (that’s how you do in the country), and it was time to scare even the bravest of hot dogs away.

    Just tell me someone broke out some marshmallows or hot dogs to cook over that darn big fire. M mm I can almost taste S more's!

    Growthumbs: You would never have gotten close enough with a marshmallow - way too HOT! I'd say I couldn't get within 6ft of the fire. You need to go eat something.

    Whoa ! That's an awesome fire ! So the firefighters were also there when it burned (just in case) ?

    Jaffer - no firefighters. Just us and a garden hose at the ready! The yard is nice but with 30 oak trees it's a full time job of picking up tree droppings. Blossoms in the spring, acorns and leaves in the fall, and sticks and dead limbs all year round! Bring your rake.
